We spent the day at the Cotswolds Wildlife Park located in Burford, Oxfordshire.
The sun shone and the weather was glorious for the time of the year.
Mum, Dad, Martyn, Gracie, Ruth and us got there pretty early on in the day. Parking was easy and plentiful.
We walked through to where the wildlife areas were. I had never been here before but was instantly impressed with how well kept the place was and how well planted it was too.
I'm not too great a fan of zoo's however learned that many of the animals here were being used in breeding programmes which hoped to replenish species which were in danger from extinction.

The following are some of the pictures taken on the day:

                                                              Sifaka

These were called Sifaka. These animals were about two and a half feet tall and really active. When they stopped playing they sat in a very human like way. They actually reminded me of soft toys which had been posed. They were fast when they moved and covered a lot of ground with almost efortless grace. They were beautiful.

Snowy Owl

Wallaby (Parma)

Grey Wolf

Teal

Caribbean Flamingo

Common Squirrel Monkey

                                                        Bactrian Camel
