ALL IN A DAY OUT

I had problems with my brakes and discs due to salt getting in them over the winter. I went to Hexham to get the repairs done. I wanted to have a full day so set off early. Not far from home I looked in the rear view mirror and instantly felt excited and thrilled with what I saw;

I carried on and got there - dropped the car off and went for a small wander. I noted that spring must be on the way as I came across these in a churchyard;

Having finished with the car I made my way home and took a couple of photo's just out of Hexham;

These stared and scared - I felt a bit ganged up on..........

Black grouse cock and hen - getting ready for spring.

Very curious as to what I was doing in the middle of nowhere - like the neighbourhood watch!!!

Getting home I saw Hamish looking very handsome so have to post a picture of this hunk of burning love;

The day ended with another treat: a beautiful sunset;

After the harshest winter (cold temperatures) over the last couple of years here we are excited that the days are getting longer again and we can finally come out of hibernation.
